The Uganda Linux User Group will be hosting our July 2011 event at S7/Jet Internet Cafe this Friday (7/1) at 4PM.
This month we'll demonstrate how to build an Internet radio station using free open-source software (Icecast). In addition, we'll give an introductory talk on IPv6 and a short presentation on the current state of IPv6 deployment in the African region. We'll also recap the AfNOG / AfriNIC conferences which recently took place in Dar es Salaam and, as usual, will finish off with a multiplayer PC gaming session ;)
Usual disclaimer: Arrive early and bring a USB stick if you'd like a free copy of any software we demonstrate or otherwise have available. If you're coming for the gaming and would like to play on your own laptop, please remember to bring a mouse :)
For those who can't make it but are interested in playing Quake 3 at home or work, grab a copy from our multiplayer gaming page: http://games.pamoya.com
