LUG Kampala June Meeting

Date/time:
Friday, June 18, 2010 - 16:00 - 20:00
Location:
Mountbatten headquarters

We would like to invite all interested for the June edition of the LUG Kampala this afternoon at the Mountbatten offices in Muyenga!

We have two sessions lined up:

1) Kyle Spencer will talk (10 minutes he promises) about using vi and the basics of editing configuration files.

2) Alex Ssegujja will build pothole.ug -- a website that allows you to plot potholes on a public map -- right in front of your very eyes in 20 minutes using Drupal.

Anyone else who wants to give a talk about something is more than welcome to push us over the 30 minutes of presentations we already have lined up.

For those who have never been on a good local link, this is a great opportunity to see how a properly configured network in Uganda could work courtesy of Datanet.

Mountbatten offices are located in Muyenga on the right hand side of the road immediately following Hotel International.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
