Uganda LUG + Google: Intro to Python & AppEngine

Event details
Date/time:
Fri, 2010/07/23 - 12:30 - 17:00
Location:
Makerere University Faculty of ICT, Building B, 4th floor

On Friday, July 23rd the Uganda Linux User Group and Google will join forces to bring you Python, AppEngine, free beer, and pizza!

This event is for beginner and intermediate level developers who would like to learn how to create web applications in Google AppEngine using the Python programming language.

Free beer and pizza will be served at Google's Kampala offices following the event, though be aware that you must attend the main event in order to be eligible for the after-party :)

Please note that this will be a hands-on training event. 100 Ubuntu-based thin-client workstations will be available on a first-come first-serve basis, so please arrive early if you can't bring your own laptop.

If you plan to attend we encourage you to sign up using the form below. Doing so will allow our system to send you automated reminders and event updates should there be any last minute changes, and will also help us plan things like how many crates of beer to buy and how much pizza to order.

As usual, free copies of free software will be available at the event. CD's/DVD's will be 1,000/= each, so bring USB drives if you've got em!
